20111104- Tesco for Schools and Clubs Scheme.
This year's Tesco for Schools and Clubs scheme has been another success seeing local schools and clubs set to receive fantastic new equipment. To celebrate, Tesco Montrose welcomed Mike Weir MP and youngsters from St. Margaret's and Lochside Schools to the store.

The nationwide scheme, now in it's 20th year, enables UK schools and clubs to redeem vouchers from Tesco purchases for all sorts of amazing products from iMacs to drum kits and garden tools to tennis rackets.
Over 40,000 schools and clubs in the UK have signed up to take part in the programme and last year alone Tesco gave away over 430,000 pieces of equipment worth a staggering £9.3 million.
This year, shoppers in the local area received vouchers over ten weeks which they donated to a school or club of their choice. These schools and clubs were then able to choose what they wanted to benefit and educate children.
Bryan Gibson store manager at Montrose Tesco said "Tesco for Schools and Clubs is a scheme which my team are proud to be part of. Thousands of customers have been collecting vouchers to help their local schools and clubs get new equipment showing what can happen when a whole community gets involved."
